"Little Princess"

I asked her to pose for me and these are what I got! She has a very dramatized personality! And its fun to watch her grow up.

Buildings.

Sunday late-afternoon some friends and I went down town Zionsville IN, to take some pictures.
We have alot of fun and really enjoyed it.

Roses

I have been practicing with my lighting control, especially in black an white as my previous post, and I had some roses on the counter so i thought I'd do a little shooting. They turned out nicer than I had expected! So I am very pleased!

The Harp.

I didn't have a good place to set the harp so I could get it as a whole, so I just took a couple of the string tunners, strings, and bar. These are just practice pictures, I was working on light balance, dark balance, focus blurring, and focusing. They seemed to turn out ok.

Taking Pictures.

The past couple of weeks have been pretty busy. With lots of complications in the past couple years I haven't been able to get my license till now. So now I am actually going to getting new pictures of people and places! Which is making me very excited.
While battling the fight of school like every other teenager, I am also trying to work on my photography. I find myself juggling school, photography, daily life activities, and other responsibilities many times throughout the week. I am basically saying that if there are moments of my absence it is probably because I have been caught up in the other world that I live in called "daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities". Don't worry, I take pictures through out the day, but it is normally a picture here and there. When I have the time I come back and uploaded them.

Thanks to some supporters I am hoping to get some new pictures up before the end of this week! Hopefully there will be some very unique pictures! In the mean time, relax and enjoy the ones that I have up.

Thanks,
Jon.

Modeling A Person.

One thing in taking pictures of people is that you have to get them to do it with you. Another thing is that not everybody is photogenic, and with those people you really have to work on either the background of the scene or making them more photogenic. The latter part is much harder and not used as often. I'm still learning on how take good pictures of people and while I'm still learning one thing that is helping me is my younger sister Esther. She loves having her picture taken and is pretty good at obeying what I want done. And, from what I've heard, she's a pretty photogenic person.

Birds In The Winter.

This picture wasn't taken till later in the week. Either the birds or the warmer weather that we had near the end of the year. Probably caused this pod to bust. Most of the others were still closed.

The dove just flew onto the tree branch as the wind picked up.

Most birds sleep in groups at night during the winter to help stay warm so they don't freeze.

The ones that don't will search for a warm spot for the night or the won't live the next morning depending on how cold it got that night.
